Got the new belt on, the old one was the original from the factory I believe: New skirt before and after wet sanding with 600, ready to paint. The front cover should be coming soon, once that get's here, I'll finish the painting up and get everything back together. Sad thing is, the raods are almost clear enough for a short test ride of the new belt and sliders, the bad news is the wife took the keys and said not until March. (she remembers the "incident")

Got all the parts checked, I ordered two fuel doors... I checked, it was me. I have no idea why I ordered two fuel doors... It happens. You go thru schematics and parts lists, then you remember something not on your list, and then you see that another, other part, forgot that you clicked it already and magically it’s in your checkout cart. Been there, done that, go the box of spares!

Now that I am free to get back to work on the scooter, having been detoured by house painting and a snow storm, first order of business is rigging up some kind of paint hood or perhaps even booth, more for dust control than anything. If I read information right, the air flow helps to keep dust from settling on the surface, but at the very least the fumes have to go, even bought new masks, time to start paying attention. I also invested in one of those handles for spray cans which will definitely help with control and no more numb fingers...
Now to go into town for some cardboard.

Those spray can handles are great. I think my father gave me one many years ago because they had 'em in the hardware store where he works. I thought it was kinda silly, till I used it. I use 'em for all spray jobs unless it's some weird nozzle that won't fit. Aside from what you mentioned, they also keep the paint off of you better. Just make sure you pay attention if you set the can down or shake it. Sometimes they'll rotate, and then it doesn't keep the paint off of you if you don't re-check.

My hillbilly paint shroud, ain;t pretty, but it works pretty good with the fan on high. Got two coats on everything, wait 48 hours, wet sand final coat and I'll be putting things back together next week.

I like your color choices. That is a sharp looking scooter. I'm glad to here the CVT upgrades worked.

I just we'd have a good day I can get it out and really give it a run down. The exhaust might be an issue just for the loudness, didn't do a lot of research on it, basically a tube with a baffle, and apparently a repack doesn't tone them down very much. On the other hand the stock muffler is way to quiet.
