This is the spare rear from my Zuma. It’s the same bronze chrome I’m thinking about.

That would match up nice with the engine. Are you sure you didn't just buy this bike, because the colours match you're scooter? 😁

Yep that's one nice bike,I have fitted two buzzers to the scoot indicators (turn signal) just a few dollars and suprisingly loud and a life saver.

Nice bike. I used to have a 06 FZ1 that I converted to the naked Euro look (so it actually looked very similar to yours. Your images gave me some serious flashbacks), and I loved that bike. I'm sure you will as well.

The exhaust and wheel color got my attention. Just got a new Char-broil grill. The stainless burner covers turned that color with a shine with first use. WOW! So, since bronze chrome is real (Thanks Frank), the future looks shiny!

I had a passenger today, don’t give me a hard time about her shorts we didn’t leave the neighborhood. She was all smiles though. More room for her then on the scooter she says. 200 down I’m going to try for 500 by the end of the weekend. Sunday I’ve got a charity ride I’m going to participate in, it should be fun.

I was just getting ready to ask how many miles you had so far. Fine. Next question. Did you wear matching shorts on your ride? Glad to see you enjoying the bike, and getting the fam involved.

The neighbors might call the police if I was wearing those shorts 🍒 She really liked the ride I can see taking her for a distance. She reached the passenger pegs just fine and got the comfy passenger bump. Do they make kid riding jackets?

You can get all the riding gear over here in kids size. Might have to be mail order for you unless there is a big clothing store nearby.

Kids grow out of riding gear fast. Talk to some people at the charity ride, some may have some outgrown gear.

The kids stuff I found isn’t much cheaper then the adult gear, 2 kiddos and them outgrowing it in 6 months or less... I think checking for some outgrown stuff might be a good idea.

Some of us speak from experience about kit for kids. I made it a point to never pay more than 1/3 the new price for used stuff, usually more like 25%. Well worn items usually ran 10%. Garage sales sometimes have equipment. Damaged equipment has performed it's function and should not be worn again

A lot of the kids gear looks like MX stuff. I wonder if local MX tracks may have some sort of community. Maybe even on their facebook page or keep an eye on craigslist, letgo, etc...

Better late then never a proper jacket. It’s a Tourmaster Transition 5. I took a 50 mile ride with some slow areas, it was about 80 out. It’s a warmer jacket that I removed the liner prior to the ride but it’s not over kill. There are some additional vents I discovered after I came back so they should help out. It’s priced fair, fits and looks decent. I did jump on the highway for a short distance and it felt like a parachute but I’ve since found some vents on the back I never opened so that felling should go away.

I think anyone that has never owned a proper multi-season jacket before will soon grow to wonder how they ever lived without one.
