I use one of the mixing bottles. Makes it easy. There are also free apps, or even a two stroke oil calculator on this site.

Found out the other day that you (or maybe just me)can't just pull the cases apart by hand. So in the effort to do things right, I just ordered case/crank tools from Ebay. Also picked up a TPR 122mm rear pulley. And have planned for next week to order a Malossi or rear pulley spacer, a Malossi Xspecial #6112741 (796x16.5x30) belt and the Stage6 dashboard from ScooterTuning.
Which bring me to a question, is anyone else using the Stage6 or Koso db02r or db03 dash. And am I going to need extensions for the temp sensors to reach the engine.

Crank tool should be here today. Rear pulley by Monday. I am thinking that I need to make a pressure tester. Or maybe just have to ask one of these nice locals if they would do it for me. Also I will be able to have some pictures of everything as well.

Woulda had this done already but imma master procrastinator. But this is the reason the CPI engine give up. Both crank bearings give out. Gonna do some pondering if I really wanna trench these cases or just leave it be and drop the new crank and bearings in it.

Your crank bearings look like my X-wrist pin bearings.

Your crank bearings look like my X-wrist pin bearings. They are pretty bad. But no oil will do that

It came apart alright in the end. So much easier with the proper tools. š

Got my parts ordered just now. Should be here by the weekend. Stage6 dash and extension Over range pulley spacer Malossi contra seat Malossi Xspecial 796mm belt
Plans for today include getting the crank, bearings and seals installed and seal the cases. Also, planning on filing my exhaust port roof to make it a bit flatter and chamfer it so the rings won't snag. To quote one of my favorite Honda youtubers, "progress is better then no progress"

Ended up dragging my feet. I've got the cpi cases mildly trenched. But haven't gotten any father. I've found another issue. It's a bit of a issue. The Primary shaft of my 15/50 has pieces of teeth missing. Now, when I put that gear set in the baccio cases, it had brand new bearings. And this is the 3rd primary gear set the Baccio has ate.
Looks like I'm either ordering another primary set, or going with stock gearing for a bit

And if I get new gears, go with another 15/50 primary for 11.282 final or put a 15/42 Secondary for 11.2 final.

Just ordered another Stage6 15/50 Primary set. Should be here by Thursday or Friday. Anyways with the snow and extreme cold this past week I haven't done anything. Really thought about playing in the snow with my Kymco. But good sense took over and I just looked at the snow. But I do want to get a couple sets of dirt bike tires for the scouts.
