Ok I'm at the point of putting premix in the tank and kick it up. Bars are on, dash is wired, controls back on, except a kill switch but it has a key. It won't have a working speedo until the end of the month when the new magnetic screws come in and I dont have front turn signals until I can figure a mount system to hold them. Think I'm gonna use aftermarket mirror mounts to hold the signals. But for the moment I only have one. I love how the bars sit. Not sure how comfortable it will be for riding 30+ miles to work but we will find out soon enough. Definitely getting these bars and stem for my Kymco soon. Once I figure out the turn signals on Oliver, Kym will get an identical setup.

Break in and tuning today. During heat cycles at idle temperature never got above 71°C. Have done a little riding, 5 miles or so, 1/2 to 3/4 throttle and have only seen temp jump to 101°C and drop back to 95 with a quick WOT hit. I've got the CVT setup heavy to keep revs down at the moment. Bit too heavy cause as soon as it starts shifting it's at 6 to 6500 rpm and comes off the pipe. This is the plug after heat cycling. Was brand new BR9ES

So far, I cant use the fuel level on my dash. As it always reads 100. And feel like i need to go richer on main jet. While on the service stand it revs much faster and free with the choke on. So far I've drove approximately 20 miles. I've also had to put a new fuel filter and blow out my manual petcock, as it had been running the filter and carb bowl dry riding "easy/normal". I have seen 53 mph on gps at about 9k rpm

For fuel gauge, wire from dash should be measuring ohms to ground through potentiometer in tank. How many wires come from tank? If two one is probably ground and other goes to gauge input.

Got 2 from tank. Black and white/blue. When I test those colors at the original dash wire harness plug both are grounded. Even with float unplugged or empty tank gauge reads 100%. And I've tried both ohm ranges my gauge reads (100 and 510)

If you have a single wire coming from your gauge cluster that says fuel attach that to the blue white wire and nothing to the black wire, try that

This is the wiring on the back of the stock gauge for the fuel level. Only the black and the white/blue are at the tank. Gonna try and trace this red/white and possibly even connect to it. Cause when connected to the white/blue with the tank empty and float on the bottom the Stage6 dash is still saying 100% 🤦♂️

That didnt work. The red/white is definitely hot when the key is on. It lit up the ENTIRE screen on the Stage6 when hooked up. Although at this moment I'm considering on running wires into the seat bucket with the stock dash so I have a fuel gauge.

What does the stage 6 directions say about what wires to use on its end, not the bike.

What does the stage 6 directions say about what wires to use on its end, not the bike. Nothing directly, just negative. Although while "diagnosing" this issue I clipped my test light on the fuel wire out the S6 and the probed the wires directly at the tank and it stayed at 0. Same results if I probe the wires on the bar connector. But as soon as I touch wire to wire it starts at 0 and slowly runs through to 100 and stays there. Once at 100 it stays even if I turn the key off. Gonna try going from the S6 directly to the float wiring and see if that produces proper results. Although as I take these picture I'm gonna try swapping the battery for a much newer one. Since this one won't hold a charge for crap

34/112 seems a little rich. Running premix 100ml per gallon (approximately 40:1) Gonna try 32/108 next

Well I broke ANOTHER stock clutch. They just dont seem to like spinning over 10k engine rpms, for me at least. So its upgrade time. Polini 107mm 3g For Race adjustable clutch with included stiffer springs, Malossi Torsion Controller, Polini Speed Bell, and reusing the Malossi white contra. The book from Polini says white and blue springs are included instead of the green and yellow, but says 6750 to 8k with stiffer included springs. Also have a set of Blue Polini 3g springs as well. I'm aiming for 6750 engagement for now. Oh and dropping to a 32 pilot made it much more responsive and powerful feeling. Still no luck with the gas level gauge. O

I need to drop weight in vari again. But engagement is at 6500 to 6750. But it's also wanting to shift at 6500. Need shift at like 9000 or so.
