I ran some Pirelli SL60's on the slider. They are quite aggressive. Great tyre. Warmed up really fast. Great in the cold and wet. You just had to be careful, as you could run off the main tread it leant right over on the road. Scooter Tyre

I've got these kendas currently. Might have to see if I can get the pirellis for 12 inch rim's. As the lugs seem to be a lot deeper.

The front on my slider is a 12" wheel. So they do have them in that size. I have been looking at those Kenda tires for my typhoon. There are only two companies that make a set of tires that fit it. The original ones are not very good. Have you tried them yet?

I've got one on the back of my kymco. It grips pretty good in the dirt. But with the tread lugs being small it tends to fill up with mud and not self clean that well. And ok on the road. But doesn't like to lean all that well.

Progress report of the last couple of days. I didn't really do any trenching. I did knock down a high spot on the large case side, to aid in flow from reeds to transfer. But the S6 crank is in,cases are sealed with Motoseal. Next tick marks to check off are to make a starter block off. Fit the rings and chamfer the exhaust port a bit better. Then the cylinder can be installed and the squish set. Aiming for .9 to 1.0mm max. Also I made a pressure tester. I need to get another pipe cap (1/2 inch) to fit my 25mm intake. I had gotten a 1 inch, but after i got back home realized that size is better suited for a PWK sized intake.

No base gasket. That is zero deck or maybe a nun's hair over. The last time I did this on the baccio, even with polini piston on stock crank was .4mm below deck. Oh and the Naraku piston has a slight dome. This is a HIGH compression setup. Gears will be here today. Still gotta make a starter block off and I plan to slot my starter plate so I can advance timing if needed. Last build got me 56@ 10500 on Becky. I feel that the extra compression should give enough extra power to run pass 60 and head for 70. And now I'll have the budget overrange to help with acceleration, as long as the 796 belt is long enough

Bout ready to pressure test. Need to make a hose loop on the intake vacuum ports, but preliminary testing has turned out well. Had to redo the copper TV on the base gaskets. Had a major leak. Also my ign side crank seal was leaking. Changed it out and so far so good. Held 260 mm/hg for a couple of minutes while I held my finger over the vac ports. Once the base rtv sets up I'll pull the head and the measure the deck clearance again. Was at roughly .6mm. Which according to my timing calculator is basically 197/132. Which figures for 11k or so peak power.

Was worth checking then. It could of made it hard to dial in with a leak.

Well I'm closer to having a running 2T then I was. Messing with belt shimming. And putting everything back together. I've put a stock stator on for now. I will slot my backup. Also I'm using the Jonway flywheel from Becky, being I'm using a zuma spline crank, which feels lighter then the cpi flywheel.
Setup for break in. CVT 7g rollers 1mm shim Bando 788/17-28 belt measuring 16.75 wide Malossi 97mm multivar 115mm stock rear pulley. White Malossi contra and mid strength clutch springs 11.28 gearing Stage6 15/50, 13/44 stock Secondary
Carb Polini cp21 jetted at 34p 112 main and middle needle to start. Running premix at least 3oz. Per gallon of 93.
Quick reminder of overall setup Ported sspg 47mm cylinder with naraku 47mm piston. .010 ring gap Stage6 10mm pin HPC zuma crank Naraku crank bearings and seals Yasuni R pipe Stage6 intake and Reed block with .035, I think, 'glass reeds The mildest of case porting( grinded down a nub on the large case half) .5mm base gaskets with ultra copper. Approximately .7mm deck clearance Unaware of actual squish but probably around 1.1 or 1.2(using a ~.45mm head gasket)(only have thick 2mm solder) Timing is estimated at 197/131-132 Also have a Stage6 dash to be wired up before first kick over.
And after break in that's when the 122mm rear pulley, Malossi 796 belt, yellow contra and torsion controller will be installed.

I run 4oz oil per gallon as standard. Gotta let the people know you’re running a 2t.

Well I still haven't started the motor yet but, I've got the Stage6 dashboard wired up, and I've got a set of downhill bars, new grips, 1 of 2 new "mirror" mounts. I've also got a set of drive studs and bumpers for a water pump. Once I get the new bars on I'll upload some photos
Oh I also have a polini 107mm speed bell and Polini 3g for Race clutch setup with adjustment springs to go on at a later date(probably with the 122mm rear pulley)

Well FMR, the 10mm magnetic rotor screws aren't the size that hold my rotor. Hopefully I can figure something out with the supplied magnets which if I'm honest I dont feel like they will withstand the test of time. May not have a speedo at first. It took a month to get the mag screws I've got. Upside is (according to the package) they are for an Aerox. Which I intend on getting a pair of Aerox wheels in the future.
I've found some M8 Koso "branded" screws on Amazon for 12.52 each. Yep another $38 in stuff getting ordered either today or tomorrow. At least these are coming from Texas and Not Italy so they shouldn't take a month to ship

Belt position, 788 belt, stock rear,97mm vari New dash on stock bars With power hooked up New bars and stem New bracket and bushings for my Yasuni R, had to get new cause I some how lost 2 pieces of the bushings over the last year. I'm doing the bars, exhaust and fixing the front valve stem today, since I'm off due to the rain.
