That is a fully maxed out rear pulley at rest. The Yasuni R runs out of steam for me in that 10000 to 10500 range for my Athena Basic cylinder . The R with certain builds has pushed to closer to 11 k but anything that lives around 11 and above lives in C16 Land . As Far as those slots on Torque driver . The more vertical line upshifts faster the more horizontal upshifts slower . reference snakers quote he explains it better . 49ccscoot.proboards.com/thread/26237/minarelli-performance-torque-driversI've been thinking about that. My cylinder is a iron Hoca 47mm exhaust raised to 19.7mm from top. And transfers are 30.7mm and 31mm from top. Approx. .6mm deck clearance with a approx. .50 copper head gasket and ultra copper. Haven't checked squish but it should be between .9 and 1.1. My head is a Polini sport "universal" non o ring head. My calculator says that's ~196/131. With all that out I've been looking at rev range for the Yasuni R again and the only setups that rev over 10k are aluminum. For example the S6 sport pro mk2, and high end midrace cylinders. I am going on the theory of I still have an iron cylinder with "stock" transfers. Granted it's now matched better then it come to me, with my extreme exhaust roof raising (4.3mm total) I'm thinking even with a c16 or a city16 I'd still be limited to maybe 11k max with this cylinder

With the Yasuni R /Malossi Sport cast (exhaust port raised a mm and polished ) I would push to 10,000 rpms and just break it With the Athena Sport / Yasuni R I picked up about about 500 rpms up Top I noticed Similar results with stock pipe and the Tecnigas Next R
The Single Ring Athena Basic has better Bottom End Punch and Higher top end than the stock Malossi . I could try to adjust the ports to match either Bottom End or Top End not both .
Th Corsa is the only cast I know of that is Mid Race .

And my cylinder is kinda modeled after a corsa with the porting. Not sure if more power could be had with a single ring piston, as I'm currently using a dual ring naraku piston

Yellow contra with 6g roller gives 8500 shift. Gotta play with jetting still. Seems a little rich on main. But overall it is very close to perfect. For a tweaked out sport kit.
On another note. I need to try rewiring my dash. I think I am having a grounding issue. At certain points my tach goes crazy and reads double the revs or just pegs at 20k

You can run the dual ring for more miles then single ring .
Your Cvt might still have untapped gains . 6 grams at 8500 Wonder if 5.5 would work even better . Are you running the most vertical or most horizontal groove in torque driver ?

So I haven't done anything other then the stickers in 2 weeks. This is how my plug is looking. 32 pilot/112 main 2nd notch on needle Only seeing 9.5 to 10k on stand. Gonna play with it a bit and see what it likes

Well today this damn thing is being cursed and getting cussed. Was fine, I changed the needle clip position and it started bog then stalling above half throttle. Moved it back to where it was and still doing the same stalling. Well bog/stall. And now I need to open the throttle for it to start. Temp never got above 180°F.

Ok, figured out what happened. Carb was angled in the intake. I pushed it down messing with the needle. But I've now reset needle to middle. Test ride proved my thoughts of it being lean. Take off was much snappier. But still hitting a wall at WOT. Changed to a 115 main. Seems to like it on the stand. Temp was 195 when I shut down. Top after shut down was 239. Dont think the water temp sensor in the air cooled head is giving the most accurate readings.

IM BACK. Lol. It's been 3 years since I've messed with scoots. Ollie is still in mothballs but I'm bringing it back to life. Found out that the gaskets in my cp21 was causing 99% of my lean conditions. I got a 08 zuma engine that is the base for my next build. And I'm going L/C. Reusing the s6 crank. Getting ready to buy the cylinder. Going with either Athena Sporting or S6 Sport Pro mk2. Just depends on what scootertuning has in stock when i place my order. Already have radiators on the way. Ive been daydreaming about this build for awhile now. As the old saying goes, it's time to shit or get off the pot.
