The 2002-2004 has that weird angle in the torque driver the 2008 does not have that. So you probably want to make a change . If you get some parts that are a little rough and want to swap them out enough zuma guys have left over stock parts laying around .

Well, the OEM secondary sheave is out of stock for months, so I think I'm going to go with an overrange kit. Since I need a new belt and fixed and sliding sheave, I"m 75% of the way there. Just will need to grind some case.

I never had to grind too much off my aerox. But I guess it's just suck it and see.

The overrange kit is due in Monday. All the other parts are held up due to an intake being out of stock. It should be in stock next week and I hope to be getting the scoot together either at the end of next week or early the following week.
The wait is killing me! I’m so ready to get it started.

Stage 6 gear up kit installed. It was supposed to be plug and play, but one of the shafts didn’t fit into the oem bearing on the transmission case, So I had to press off the shaft and replace it with the stock.
The Malossi overrange is also installed. I had to grind off some of the transmission cover for the torque driver pulley and probably still need to grind some of the ribs on the internal cvt case, but it went together nicely.
I wish I had the cylinder, but still waiting on an intake to complete that order. Hoping it all works when it goes back together.

Also forgot to mention that the state approved my Moped plate. So it’s registered.

Yay! My order shipped! Current quandry is whether this is going to be an issue… My oem clutch bell doesn’t fully cover the clutch pads. I have a feeling I’ll need better contact with the HP I’ll be pushing.

Double check this but the oem clutch for the 2002- 2005 is 105 mm . Most of the aftermarket clutches work with 107 mm bells .

The stock clutch and bell should fit on your overrange its just not ideal .

The stock clutch and bell should fit on your overrange its just not ideal . That would get me running for break in, but I think it’ll engage way too low to really take advantage of the power.

A 107mm bell should be easy enough to get ahold of . Or just break it in with stock pipe if you cannot source a bell quick enough.

A set of stiff clutch springs should be ok with the standard clutch. Would probably give about 6K engagement.
