Such a sick build. Your attention to detail is unparalleled. From experience, those low pro tires will kill your top speed... Just so you know... If that's important to you.

Really nice, has come along way! Is the bike in the house in that picture? You lucky person π Yea. The old lady is cool with my shenanigans now. Everything has either been thoroughly cleaned or is new, and no fluids in the house. I see you have a prebug thread going on too, I'm going to check it out now.

Getting there. I still to sort some wiring like relocating all the stuff that used to reside in the headset, and a few other details. Then a trailtech vapor or something similar, a better rear shock, and maybe a sidestand.

Frank is the man when it comes to 90 setups. I just read this whole thread thru and you said in the beginning "I want to keep this tame.". Now on your last post you said "I wana be scared when I twist the throttle." π π π π I REALLY like where this is going!

From my findings on the Rd power plant seems plug temp is plug temp. Itβs all the same if itβs fan forced air cooled or draft AC. Keep under 350 and you should be safe. Just keep an eye on part throttle temperatures. It's draft ac and part throttle Temps are in the 280 range, and wot it's peaked as high at 320 after a mile straight of wot. A guy on Facebook who's into mb5s says 350 is good but once you start seeing 380 it's time to upjet.. I think I'm good for now. Thanks for the help!

5 years and a bunch of stuff later I'm still here to revisit this project. I'm ready to start stock piling parts for this 90cc street sleeper. Staying in more has my other projects almost zipped up so here we go with this. I dusted off this chinarelli from scrappydog I picked up years ago am looking for guidance. My vision is a 54mm bore with a pipe and carb setup to suit, then possibly an OR if I can figure something out for this 90 crank. With the 8:1 gearing this would be a real good everyday 60+ low revving ripper. So my questions are this... 1. Any good leads on say a decent quality 54mm Taiwan bore, preferably aluminium? 2. Any good leads on an over range kit for a shortcase 90 or is it going to be way more work than what it's worth? 3. Can I trust this chinese crank and bearings? If not how about any leads on a quality (stuffer) crank and bearings? Thanks all. Pics as always Also I dusted the Ole jog off and got it running again after sitting for 5+ years
