125cc 100+MPH Elites are not hard to come by in Taiwan. Im stoked for you man AF motors are cool. FYI AF18 bore will fit on your AF16 no problem, but you have to use an AF18 exhaust as well because the stock AF16 one wont fit anymore...

...All I want now is a cheap TaoTao later down the road so I can try my hand at tuning a GY6 150 so I can see how similar to car engines it is LOL...

The Hawaii guys VTCcyles put up a super random 270mm OKO shock for an Elite for sale... Yess I said it an OKO shock (not carburetor... shock!!)! It was cheap and Im in the market for a shock so why not.

I would try an ever so slightly wider belt before I try the longer belt...

You could even get on from a car that makes a noise that you like.

It Sucks man lol!! With the doppler S2R the carb doesnt clear my shock in the current state. So a stock one should be here in a week or so. However the CVT is put together and buttoned up now at least, and it did fire up with S2R and the carb on sideways lol, So thats a plus

It just depends on the weight of the clutch shoes really, also the more surface contact area the better... The clutch shoes cant be too light however, or you may have alot of slippage on the highspeed WOT runs.

Lather everything well in 2t oil, dont put it together dry. One thing I do and it might be overkill, but once I got assembled, I start the engine with the fan shrouds off and let it run for 1 min 45sec to 2 minutes, shut it off and re-torque the head. Also like Nelson said, torque the bolts in an "X" pattern. You got this tsimi after you do this you will see how simple it really is.
