Wow.. I think if you have proof it is yours and the police do not want to do anything about it, I would start escalating it. I'd start at the police chief and work my way up to the Mayor, then if I had to, go to the Sheriff's dept or State Police. Maybe even contact the police where he resides..
When it was stolen, did you go to the police to report it missing?
I definitely would make them do their job!!!!

I've been running Windows 10 on most things I've got. I actually like it better than 8.1 or 7, but there are some modifications you can do to remove some of the prying eyes issues most are talking about.
I am still running 1 system with Windows 7 primarily because we have a Ceton InfiniTv6 and we use that system as a whole home DVR. Due to DRM, we are stuck with Windows Media Center which Windows 10 does not have..

Yes I saw that mount somewhere. I wish I could find a video or link with pics to see exactly what I need to do to the mounts to get it to work. I am torn between trying to do this engine swap and just waiting until I get a good 2t scooter and modifying it. I really like 2 strokes better and they are less maintenance and a lot quicker than the 4t's. I looked at the mods you have done to your Chinese scoot. I have thought about going that way with the big bore kit and the other tuning mods but I'm hesitant to do them to the scooters I have now {Baja SC50 and Jonway Gator} because I've read how low quality they are. That said the Baja SC50 has been good so far. It always starts and will do a little over 40mph on a flat with the stock set up it now has. I got ruined by my old Tomos that would go 50mph on a flat. I would just like to end up with a reliable scoot that will do around 50mph and not die on hills like both of my 4t's d0. If you're worried that the upgrades are low quality, you probably need to go back and look at the scooters you have, which are the same quality as the upgrades. They're all made in China. You can find some nice update parts that are made in Taiwan though, but you'll pay a bit more for them. Most all Honda Ruckus modders actually swap out their Honda engine for a Chinese made GY6. The quality is not really as bad as you may think. Are you asking for a step by step of how to weld on a mount?

I guess this is how you respond. Still new to this site and don't know my way around. Thanks for the info on the wiring. Now if I can figure out how to mount the 150cc I may do it or just sell the Gator as is. Not really interested in keeping it if I can't get a 150 into it. Kinda lost on your 'I guess this is how you respond' . All it takes is some time, patience and a little ingenuity. I've been thinking about doing exactly this same thing to my scooter. I've already installed a crap-ton of mods including a 100cc BBK, but I really want to extend the back out but want to do it with a 150cc engine. If you want to mount a 150cc to a 50cc chinese scooter, there are no clamp on mounts that I know of available. Anything you get will be bolt-on. Best bet is to find someone that knows how to weld good and has a mig/tig setup and get a weld-on mount like this:

Thanks Brent. I did do a search here and found a few posts from some of the guys that have the SJ4000. I actually ended up buying the camera kit and memory card from B&H photo. Not that the clones are bad. I just wanted to make sure I was getting a real SJCAM and not a clone. I've already ordered separately 2 batteries and charger kit that includes a plug for a cigarette lighter socket. Now I've got another project.. install a cigarette lighter on my scoot!

Well, I had a $100 gift card that's been burning a hole in my pocket for about a week or so and I've been trying to figure out what to use it on..
I decided to go ahead and order the SJCAM SJ4000 WIFI model and a 32 gig micro sd card. I've been wanting an action camera and accessories for a while now for various reasons and couldn't really justify the cost of getting a GoPro and the accessories I'd want.
I was going to go for a SJ5000+, but since I was limited to the $100 card, the SJ4000 WIFI and 32gb card came right at $97 shipped.
I figured for the occasional action video I'd use it for (scooters, motorcycles, etc), and also looking at getting a a DGI Phantom and Zenmuse gimbal or similar in the future, it would come in handy.
Anyone have one? Just curious what you guys think of it..

What color is the smoke? Is there a chance the scooter is running uber rich causing the smoke? Is your vacuum petcock leaking gas through the vacuum line directly into the intake?

PLEASE!!! Before you do anything... Check this...
I had the exact same problem Engine started right up... When on the stand, I could rev it up and it sounded great. Tried to take it for a spin and it would barely move. I could actually hold the scooter with my feet on the ground.. Bought a new carb.. same thing. Installed a BBK.. same thing. Bought a new belt.. same thing.
Went through a bunch of parts just to find out the whole time it was the vacuum petcock. Somehow it had internally failed and was allowing gas to seep past it into the vacuum line going into the intake. Was causing it to be overly rich and was actually bogging bad.
Best thing I ever did was to replace that vacuum petcock with a manual one from Advance Auto parts and capped the intake vacuum port.
