Oh jeez, just saw your location! Hope you got your window operating correctly. I've never seen that interesting little vehicle before.
Yes Fiat.. Fiat-Chrysler...sigh My stomach just turned.

My father's work finally got a Demon in. Not fantastic pics, but you get the jist, 840hp factory car. I'd love to take one for a ride, but must admit, I'm pretty tired of the bloated challenger, charger etc. Thank god they never slapped a 'cuda sticker on one of the aging LX cars. At this point I feel they're just good candidates to yank the driveline from and install into a classic Mopar. Same for the camaro. The mustang is the only one that is ever-evolving and never got too big and cartoony.

Car repair out in the cold isn't fun, been there plenty of times. My worst experience was an 87 chrysler lebaron 2.2 turbo. The pressure relief valve in the oil pump failed and pressure was blowing the oil filter seal. My crankcase drained itself going 60mph! Spent a few hours laying in snow, becoming an oily frozen mess changing the pump, intermediate shaft (found sheared teeth) and resetting ignition timing.
What year/make/model are you working on?

190mech said it uses a 50cc stroke, I think that means 39.2mm like the 1e40qmb? But the tech library shows a stroke of 42mm for the 1e40fm. That 52mm bbk would net you 89.2cc or 83.2cc depending on the stroke.
Yes, you could use a 10mm pin kit. Imho, buy a higher quality kit. That ebay kit is using a generic 49cc pic. I had to do a lot of porting on my cheap ebay 70 kit. My neighbor, received one full of cracks throughout the dividing wall in the transfers, returned that one.
Keeping an eye on this because I'm hopping on the 90 train when funds allow.

Faulty vacuum operated petcock? I'd start there. Verify fuel isnt in the vacuum side of it. You could even temporarily bypass it to see if your issue persists. Don't bother replacing parts unless you verify the original is bad or it's a bunch of wasted money and time.

Thanks for the replies. I was thinking perhaps use some scoot electronics to get 12v dc from the stator, and from there use a 12v - 110v ac inverter. At least a scoot engine or if this contraption was on a briggs ...it would use less fuel than my Toyota.
Maybe I'll just use an alt mated to a briggs and stratton. ~Seems~ simple enough.

I'll openly admit that I have a lot more learning to do in terms of things electric. I'll continue doing home work. Simply put, could a common 49cc stator put out 110v AC for household use? Or, I suppose, modify a stator's output to power a household item? I know generators are readily available for purchase, but hell, I like to tinker, and multipurpose tools are the best. I've been through a couple power outages... I can live without the gaming system, but if I could power something in an emergency, it would be fantastic. Our last outage, I was using an inverter hooked to my car and would alternate between the fridge and a couple small items. Any input is greatly appreciated, unless it's a link to a REAL generator

imgur.com/a/vKfP3Why wouldnt this work? S Edit: why not go further. Why not get a motor hooked up to the vac line to control leakage via the o2 sensor and tac? Is that a thing? Im sorry, just what are you doing with the motor and controlling leakage?

I think 30:1 is a little too oil rich. I've been running 40:1 on my 1e40qmb, in both 50cc and 70cc form. No issues as far as I can tell. I know other injection tossers choose this ratio as well.

So you never got the bowl off? Can you access the stripped screw with a pair of vice grips? Really clamp them on there, that'll get it broken loose.

Out of habit, I have to listen to Dead Kennedys- Halloween ...don't judge me!

^ Makes sense, my particular one didn't extend with voltage applied.

Just want to mention the enricher, if you delete it. You could swap to a manual one. I simply deleted mine by taking the needle and cap off of it. Then inserted it into the carb, and filled in the entire void with JB weld lol. Some may frown upon my use of epoxy on a carb, but it's been like that for years and does not leak.
Mine starts fine without it.

Yes, I've done this with what was a buddy's frame.
Simply have the stator/PU, cdi, coil and killswitch.
Mind you, it was an AC powered CDI.
